SR22 rail question

A railed hand guards top rail won't line up with the rail on the Ruger stock, if you want them to line up you'll have to buy the rail.

I got dlask rails and they fit excellent, They're well made too. heres mine :)

As said above, an AR15 handguard will not align
its top rail with the receiver rail.

In addition, removing the original handguard that comes with the SR-22
will make you loose the barrel support block (but you need that part!).

Dacton, can you post up a pic of your rifle w/ the rails from more of a side view? I've only ever seen them with the ruger top rail and no side rails, and I didnt like the look. But I'm digging yours :)

You don't need the barrel support block. A lot of people remove it. I removed mine and I don't see any difference in accuracy.

If i wanted to shorten the front grip, and install a 12" dlask bull barrel, would it work to just move the support block, (modified to fit .920), farther back and cut off the amount of front grip desired gone?

If anybody's looking for some short rails for SR22, I just got a couple in the mail.

Bought them off Ebay from "Fitco' in Vancouver. Two 4 1/2" rails delivered to my mailbox was under $16.00. I paid for them on Monday, arrived today.
The mounting holes match up nicely, should be good enough for a Grip-pod and some pimp lighting or a laser sight(if I decide to go that way)
