Just wondering if anyone else has had issues with this ammo? It's the winchester 115 gr bulk 100 pack in the white box. I've put probably 800 rounds through this gun clean after every use and never had an issue using federal or reloaded ammo. But the other night I went to the range and ran a box of the winchester through it for the first time and 6 of the hundred round's would not eject. Had to lock slide back and pry the case out and they felt very tight. Any opinions or stories??

I did have a problem, mainly with WIN ammo seemed to jam more often than others, but still had jams with other kinds. Sent it in for warranty repairs, they replaced the barrel and slide. Works great now, but the process sucked!

I had some trouble with branded Win sticking in the the chamber this week. Switched to Rem and all was good. Not many rounds thru this one yet.

Seems like a pattern with that ammo lol. I too have not had a single issue with any other brand ammo. Even the cheap Russian garbage I got at Canadian tire one time

My friend with a Steyr L9A1 had trouble with that ammo, but when we tried it in my Jericho it ran flawless. I traded him a box of Remington and we both finished our shoot without issue.

If it happens at all with other ammo, replace the extracter. I haven't had an issue with any ammo since.
What's happening is the cavity that the extractor sits in is sometimes not deep enough to allow the full range of rocking motion to take place. It's a well known issue with some firearms like the ISSC M22. In other firearms like the Steyr and Sig Sauer, they simply favour ammo that has a larger case lip for the extractor to grab on to. Winchester Wildcats function just fine in my .22 pistol for examle, but the case lips are noticeably smaller than on Remington Golden Bullets.

Both rounds fire and rack the slide, but the extractor can't grip enough of the Wildcat lip to pull it out. I use a cleaning rod and push from the muzzle to the chamber to pop out the spent casing so as not to damage the chamber. The lips on the Remington ammo are large enough that the extractor has a firm grip and has no issues pulling out the spent case.

Here's a video exlaining the fix of deepening the extractor cavity to allow the extractor to fully rock back and forth: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=l-6kX0TSpUs
