SR9 owners: Any light strikes?

I recently ordered the trigger springs, Ghost rocket trigger connector, polished stainless guide rod, striker indicator, etc, from Galloway Precision. One thing I haven't installed, yet anyway, is the slightly heavier striker spring which Galloway claims eliminates the possibility of light strikes on primers. Have any of you experienced light strikes from your SR9s with the factory striker spring? If so, what ammo were you using? The heavier Galloway spring ADDS a bit of weight to the trigger pull, so I don't want to install it if no one has had any issues with the Ruger factory spring. Thanks!

I've put several hundred rounds of Wolf Bullets 124gr. Never a light strike, but feeding issues with it. Never was in the right mind to take measurements of the offending rounds. I have had about 30 rounds of Federal HST2 JHPs through it without problem ever. Gun was brand new with no mods at all.

Shot 500 - 600 rounds in one session. Maybe more? I don't remember. 1 light strike. Still with those numbers it could have been the ammo.

Seems like a good thing to have in your tool box just in case yours develops a problem with light strikes......till then you might as well enjoy a lighter trigger.

Okay then, thank you...I'll put that trigger spring away in case I need
a new one someday. I love what the other parts have done to the
smoothness and trigger pull...it's an excellent pistol!

had 2 in about 2000 rounds, all 2000 rounds were my own reloads with cci 500 primers. A second strike worked on both of them

Edit: As a side note, I have had about 5 or 6 Failures to eject. Can't figure out why but its really only a minor inconvienence

EditEdit: Ejection problem traced to gunk on the back side of the extractor. Keep it clean and should be no problems
