Possibly a dumb question, but why would it be significantly different? It's not like there are massive differences between the two cartridges.

Sarcasm aside, hopefully the 6.5 will shoot small groups and not be fussy doing so.

I would not be surprised if they aren't out yet, BCL has been slow releasing all models at the same time in the past.

Aside from waiting for a bunch of these to be in the wild so as not to be a beta tester, I'd suggest that if you are set on getting on of these, get a .308 to see if it runs reliably. I say that based on their 1.5 moa claimed accuracy and what was seen in the vids where they test for accuracy. I wouldn't be super stoked on a 6.5 that shoots 1.5 moa (or worse) but at least with a .308, you can suss out how reliably it runs and if it isn't very accurate, you can just shoot cheap ball ammo in it and have a custom 6.5 barrel spun up as most of the accuracy in these systems comes from the barrel. Just my $0.02

i see the 308 is listed out there now. sent an email 6.5 wont be out until mid 2025 im told . yes probably a good idea on the 308
