I haven't tried SS pins yet, but really want to. I've heard that they clean primer pockets and case internals, therefore eliminating the need for any further cleaning. Is there any truth to this? Also, what type/brand of tumbler is recommended?
Not only will it clean the pockets, but will deburr also (rifle brass)
I run a Thumler B, 1lb of pins from Rooky. A margerine can of brass, 1 icecream pail of water, one 9mm case of Lemishine and a shot of dawn dish soap. 3 hours or so.
I wish I could do more at a time, but otherwise it's a great setup, very clean brass.
