I'd like to here from anyone who have loaded both of these bullets and also used them for hunting.

1) Are they comparable accuracy wise ?

I've used interloks and nosler bullets and have found nosler products shoot much better. However, I have not used the sst's

2) Are they similar regarding terminal performance on game ? I know neither is designed like a partition or similar but I like ballistic tips and wondered if the sst's were the same.

Thank you for all your input.

The Noslers are generally "tougher" as they have a thicker jacket than the SST's. The Ballistic Tips also have a tapered jacket which is thicker in the lower shank and heel than the SST.

Both makes are generally accurate while individual rifles will sometimes show preference to one over the other.

IME the Nosler BT's are slightly more accurate, and although a cup and core bullet, seem to perform better on game than the SST's have. I have had quite a few SST's vaporize after entering deer, at normal velocities as well. No exit and nothing recovered!!! Although they were very lethal, and that is the point after all. BT's will mush up, and sometimes come apart, but I have either recovered the bullet, or it was a pass through, and just as lethal.

I don't use either anymore, I use Partitions, Accubonds, Scirocco's, or TSX/TTSX's now for just about everything but varmints and paper.
