Stag-10 AR10 308 Non-Restricted Rifles - Orders Open

Yes, it can be done, Cerakote. We will get a price from Stag Arms and post it. If you've already placed an order and you like the offer, it shouldn't be a problem to update the order.

I'd really like to see how an A2 stock looks on one of these... I'm thinking that might be the final push I need to pull the trigger on one...

I think someone messed up the two listings...the description don't match up with the title.

The cheaper of the two says "STAG-10 GI BONES Rifle 18.75" Barrel CAL 308WIN - RIGHT HAND" just like the more expensive one but with sefty on the left in description

The more expensive bones version has the more expensive VG6 Gamma muzzle break than the cheaper one with A2 flash hider.

Sorry that I have been living under a rock, but how is this AR10 non-restricted? Not trolling, someone please educate me. Thanks.

So is this version for sale by ArmsEast somehow different from the multitude of Stag 10 reviews on youtube that refer to it as an AR10?

Because it is outside the specifications of the ar 10 and doesn't mate up with an ar10 upper it can't be an ar10 and is some thing different and a new firearm even tho it uses most of the same parts. Much like a Ford mustang and a mercury cougar share most of the same parts but are different vehicles

I just love the mustang/cougar reference!

Youtube is not a source of law in Canada!

The basic legal idea/criteria is that because you can't install and use an AR10 upper receiver on the Stag 10 lower, it is there not a AR10 variant.
If you could in anyway do this and manage to fire a single shot it would be deemed a variant of the AR10 and therefore be a restricted firearm.

The AR-10 is not a named restricted or prohibited firearm.
Almost all original AR-10s are prohibited as autos or converted autos.
Many of the so-called "AR-10" rifles on the market are deemed to be based on the AR-15, a named restricted firearm, and are therefore restricted.
The Stag, the BCL-102 are not deemed to be variants of the AR-15, and are therefore classified on the basis of barrel length.
