Stag 10 Light Primer Strikes

I was helping my buddy test his stag 10 (receiver build) and we kept getting light primer strikes. Only a few rounds would go off. This happened with different kinds of ammo.

Any idea why this could be happening? The primer is consistently being hit in the same spot by the firing pin. The LPK is the stag arms factory default lpk.

Some guys were saying it could be the hammer spring... could it be the bcg? or the firing pin itself?

Clean the firing pin. Make sure the hammer spring is in right. The spring should be on top of the lower trigger pin. Oil the trigger

Its not a good idea to dry fire like that without the upper on it with the bcg. If you want to dry fire it without the upper, you need to use your hand to stop the hammer.

Check the firing pin protrusion depth

You’ll also get light strikes from improper head space. Too much headspace will allow the case to move forward just enough to cause issues.

Quick update, looks like she aint going into battery properly! So could be the buffer set for anyone interested
