Is a 5.56 model ever going to be possible? I like .308, but literally everything about it is more expensive and it's less practical of a cartridge for some shooting drills. Guaranteed sale here if a 5.56 model is ever offered!

It’s coming dude

Source?

I would love to see a scaled down Stag 10 that keeps the same Armalite slant cut receiver profile. That is IF that design would make it's receivers incompatible with the currently restricted ar15. They might have a chance at NR if the scaled down version maintains the same design principles and thus it can only have it's lineage traced back to the NR Armalite patterned Stag 10.

Or would they still find a way to call it an ar15??? I can dream can't I???

AR15 is restricted by name. There is no rhyme, reason or any common sense applied to why that is... but it is the name of the game.

Although the design concept being kept to as close to, but not so close as to be labelled a "variant" is the idea behind some current manufacturers games. Following a path of lineage tracing to things that are already NR.

That's in part why this (potentially scaled down Stag 10) should not be called an AR anything. Call it the Stag 10 Light or something else that, if going by name, only points back to the NR Stag 10

All of which is why I think there's a shot at this. As long as the slant cut receiver design guarantees absolutely no compatibility with a standard ar15 receiver it would be an easier "sell" to the RCMP that there is no reason to believe this is a varient of anything other than the NR Stag 10. It seems companies just have to be smarter at "marketing" the credentials of the design to the RCMP.

Next thing is getting a large company, such as Stag is, to hop on board and make a prototype to submit for inspection. Hint Hint.

Anyways back on topic. Any news on the 18.5" .308 yet?

We apologize for the delay in responding on the options and pricing for the Stag 10 308. We have pricing but before we can publish it I would like to have all the specs and pictures provided by Stag. We have been in contact thought out the day and should have everything firmed up tomorrow. The first shipment of receiver sets are already in transit to IRUNGUNS.

We will ensure the it will be worth the wait.

Have a great evening.

The IRUNGUNS Team.

I hope pricing is in the ball park.

He is what I can see on the state side.
