Stag 10 receiver questions

Found some recievers for sale by a dealer but its listed .308/6.5 creedmor

Does that mean it will accept either calibre depending on which barrel and bcg i put in it? I would prefer .308

I don't want to buy a mystery calibre receiver set

The stag 10 will accept any cartridge base on the 308 or creedmoor case. You could have a 22 creedmoor 22-250 ai 243 6mm creedmoor 25 souper 250-3000 savage 25 creedmoor 260 rem 6.5 creedmoor 7mm08 308. The receiver is marked as multi cal and the most popular options are 308 and 6.5 creedmoor that's why that's what's listed on the all the websites and that's what stag offers for complete rifles. Most every bcg has the same bolt face save for a few odd ones. All the cartridges I mentioned above use the same bolt
