Hiya folks, I'm looking for info on the stag 2l. Likes, dislikes and all of that good stuff. Also, if it turns out that it is a good buy, id like to know where to get a good price on one!

thanks!

Daniel

If you are a lefty, NO way you can complain about Stag 2L.
Bought one, but 3R and I am loving it. Highly recommended.
If you click on ArmsEast link up the this page, they are the Canadian distributor for STAGArms. You will love this baby.

The only dislike I can say is... DAMN... they only come in pinned 5/30-round mags. Wish we can load them more than 5. :)

Absolutely agree with everything said.
Accurate and fun to use.
The only thing I would change is the flashider.

also, between the 1L 2L and all the rest of them, what's the big difference?

Same rifle, different rear sight. 1L has a detachable carry handle, the 2L has a detachable back up iron sight. 3L includes no sights, and has a gas block with a weaver rail up front. 4L is a 20" service rifle, detachable carry handle.

Which one to choose? If you like shooting with irons, the 1L has the best sight (fully adjustable for distance), if you're going to use a red-dot type sight, the 2L is a good choice. Always using magnified optics?, maybe the 3L, though any of them will do. You can configure any of them in many ways.

Personally I like a fixed front sight, and I either shoot irons or a magnified scope, all my rifles have a detach carry handle at least available.

Cheers,
DT

My Stag 2R rocks, thanks Walter :D The BUIS was dead on at 200 meters from the factory  I bought a Mark 4 MR/T from P&D but never mounted it as I picked up an Acog TA01 NSN earlier (a CGN'r got a great deal on the Leupold :) ) Can't go wrong with a Stag15 :D
