In 308, there isn't really any practical difference between 16 and 20. That's why the US military is going 16. 22"+ is when real difference is getting apparent.

The 6.5s were starter pricing and Stag even has the 6.5s on for a better price. I bet the 6.5s are around 2500 regular price. It was a promo for the launch. Right now the 6.5s are not even on the site.

And the fact still remains that Arms East said their pricing for the 308 would be more competitive than the 6.5 pricing they they had up (regardless of whether that's a starter price). Thanks for your insightful comment, though.
