Stag Oil

Just wondering, has anyone heard of Stag Oil, a friend of mine was talking to a long time shotgun shooting competiter, he recommended stag oil for cleaning semi rifles. What is this stuff, and where would it be available in
Ont.

I'm not sure where YOU can get it, but I know my local hardware store has it in his ammo case. Looks like its been there for years. If it's a real "must have" I can send you a couple of bottles.

It's a gun oil of yesteryear. Nothing special by today's standards.

'Stag' is a old gun oil brand name. While oil will clean a firearm, a good solvent will do it better.
