stag S10 barrel options

Pondering one of the new n/r Stag10 build kits but in Ontario there's significant caliber restrictions which is why 270 Winmag is so popular for hunting. I've been contemplating a custom 270 Redding barrel as .308 brass and bolt would still work....anyone been looking into this too? Or have suggestions?

I wouldn't personally want a wildcat but I would assume it would feed from a stock magazine since 7mm-08 and 260 Remington do. I like head stamped brass especially in a round that looks so much like common rounds.

I never pondered the brass issue. It could lead to a kaboom if a round got mixed into my 308's like the whole 223/300blk issues you hear about.

Do you have a reason for not selecting 260 or 6.5 creedmoor?
