I bought this 10/22 recently and although I really like the stock, I'm not 100% sold on the Bone Grey look. My question is; Does anybody know if I can sand it down and change the color and is it possible to go to the electric blue offered by Revolution?

The grey colour is built right into the laminate. You cannot sand it away, it is all the way through it. Each layer of the laminate was stained before they were glued together. However, the grey pepper laminates are a good base to make a colour change. With the proper materials you can add colour on top of the grey.

This one was a grey laminate with red candy urethane and clear over top

That is a beauty Kodiak. Is that something ordinary Joe, or in this case not so smart Taylor could do, or is it professionally done?

To do it right you need the proper spray equipment and quality paint is well over $100/quart. Spraying candy isn't rocket science, but it does take some practice.
