The SR1911 is awesome. Ruger did an excellent job on this one - well built and finished nicely. I've had it since January but have only had it out twice - too much on the go.

I'll take it out for ya I like it a lot, but they are hard to come by

Where can one get those Pachmayr or Colt wrap around grips without the finger grooves. None of the U.S. suppliers will ship them. If anyone has a set they want to sell. let me know.

Will the gun fit in the IPSC box with this mag? I have my doubts.

Fit the box it will

This is one of the Tripp Resaerch mags. I haven't shaved the base pad on this particular one yet but I have others that do fit the box.

There are others on this forum who can confirm that the Tripp mags will fit.

With these I can shoot 40 minor.
