Can anyone inform me the best way to obtain a stainless rem 700 action for a 7mm rem mag build. I have a stainless Gaillard barrel and a non stainless action but I was thinking to use a stainless in its place

You will likely have to buy a rifle, and break it for the action. Selling the unwanted parts from the rifle and your action willl offset the cost somewhat.

the stainless SPS is not so bad. the action and barrel are bead-blasted and have a nailfile-like finish, but the bolt is jeweled and satin finished.
LeBaron has the SPS stainless for $705 if you have a club card.

its a shame you missed out on their special: they had the 700 CDL SF (Stainless Fluted) for $875 in 7mm mag. that would have been a better buy - you could have recovered more of your investment for the take-off barrel and stock and ended up with a nicer receiver.

as much as i like stainless, if i were you id just keep the blued action. i actually like the look of a stainless barrel on a blued gun - and the barrel is what you need to worry the most about anyway. the bottom metal wont be stainless, just painted aluminum - and a $700+ investment just for a plain factory 700 action seems steep. if youre going to spend that, spend a bit more and go custom.

i like the two tone look myself. the blued recievers seem to be a bit smoother than the ss sps ones. i would use the blued one you have if it were me. or you can sell it to me!

What I've done a few times is buy an SPS stainless and repolish it, then beadblast it with the barrel and it all matches. The SPS action is no different than any other 700..they just don't spend time polishing and they use a coarse beadblast to remove the machining marks.

tip:...buy one in 300 Win Mag,..you'll get more for the barrel than a 7 Mag barrel.

Put the thing together on the chrome moly action and spend the funds on having the whole thing cerakoted "titanium". Looks sharp.
Otherwise I would do what Rembo said.

I dont know how handy you are but I'm going to try cerakoting a few parts in the spring. I want to do an action and some bottom metal from a Rem 700.

I have a 7mm Rem Mag Sendero that would fit the bill, pre-j-lock, good HS stock to sell or keep for build, good action, good barrel to sell, and sell, keep or throw out the trigger, you will also have bottom metal to keep or sell as-well.

Best of all you can try and shoot it first, and I will almost guarantee it will shoot 1" or less.

Ive decided to order a 300 win mag stainless rem 700 sps as I can get one with a clip(sorry for the use of the word). I can sell the other action and parts anyway so I might as well get something that comes close to matching with a feature that I prefer.

I was just going to say that you can get a SS Montana action for CDN $763, but I see you've made up your mind...
