Well the group buy is the way to go.IMO the way the mag is pinned is moot, if the mag capacity ban is lifted AR mags will be dirt cheap,right now they go for about $10 bucks in the US. This is also the case for 10rd pistol mags, new HK mags for USP45 $10 bucks!

they are not pinned folks. They are lanced. Some of the metal from the body is forced into the well preventing the follower from going past 5 rds. Some pistol mags are done like this.

yes the thanks has to go to Larry, he listened and acted. Just to give you an idea of forward thinking...he saw that magpul followers and how good they are, next thing you know they are the standard follower for his mags. if you wanted the GI follower you have to special order it.

Guys these mags are great.

I got 30 of the 30 rd'ers in Stainless -- I like the integral magpul follow - I had to add the Ranger Plates my self as an after market - but no biggy.

And compared to the Aluminum DSG ones

So how big is the dent? How feasible is it to pound it out if the ban is lifted?

Converting them back to 30 really is not that big a factor, as I don't see that happening anytime soon.

if the ban ends you can get mags for very cheap so dont worry!
