Stainless CZ75

Hard chrome is a very durable finish, hence its use for trailer hitches and such. I wish someone in Canada did Black Chrome finish, it's gorgeous IMO. From what little research I did the chemicals are especially hazardous so unless things have changed nobody does it to guns this side of the border.

If you are still interested - Reliable Gun in Vancouver has 1 CZ left in what appears to be stainless. It is silver anyways. Surplus model.

the other sad fact is that by far the best regular hard chromer in Canada is no longer with us.

Chrome platting place nearby does Black chrome platting i had got done one for my Motorcycle custom parts when i made them. His brother in law had his SKS chrome plated. But i havent spoken to him in ages so cant tell how its going. As for platting of regular chrome he did a fabulous job it took a while for me to sand down a part i had to redo with grinder.

Actually i am thinking i might try to get a caliber change slide on my 226 chromed as thats the cheapest to try. I did laser on it too it.
