Can someone do me a favor and measure one of their commercially available stainless pins? Length and dia.i made 10 lbs or so out of some old 3/32 welding rod. The diameter is fine, but I ended up with the odd short one. Broke a couple of decapping pins on the last run of .357 magnum. Just wondering how long of pins will do the job.

0.240" x 0.043" on the first one I measured. This is the size I prefer, never have an issue breaking off decapping pins due to one being stuck in a flash hole.
After measuring a few more looks like the average dia would be .041-.042. All are well under .250, but over .240 in length from what I can tell.
