Stainless revolver cleaning

Birchwood lead remover & Polishing cloth works well.. I use it regularly on my Smith revolver

Brasso works surprisingly well on stainless, AND it works great for a copper fouled barrel!!

Considering that Brasso contains ammonia, it should be no surprise that it will remove copper fouling.

mothers' mag polish . after a couple cleanings with that you can almost wipe the carbon off with your thumb after a range session. use it on smith & wessons and rugers alike .
you dont really polish them ,you rub them gently with a patch with A LITTLE polish on it. if you lean on it a bit you will begin to polish the gun though , some like it others think the gun is no longer original then ,so be careful. i polished my 629s a bit and i like it . if you have a high polish piece like the old vaqueros then the polish is a no brainer. just do it. hope you find this useful
