Usually you see it go the other way, stainless or nickel frames with blued top-end ala Colt Combat Elite style....

I like to be different and frame is more expensive than a slide

How about getting a no name slide and hard-chrome plate it......

Chrome plate it sounds nice but how much and can get the slide done at any shop or has to be a firearms place/dealer? Maybe strip my norinco slide and get it redone?

Dark International was hard chroming an entire pistol for $250, but you could probably get a discount for just the slide.

I was thinking about the chrome slide, blued frame route as well. Hopefully you remember to post some pics if you get it done.
