stainless steel cleaning question

when i clean with the traditional corn cob/walnut method i get 9mm cases stuck in the odd 40cal case i miss and the 40 cal case stuck in a 45acp case. does the same happen with stainless steel media?

i do, but when i get my brass it's all mixed. i hand sort through the brass, but a few 40's slip by.

it's not a big de al, i was just curious if they get stuck together with the media like they do with walnut or corn cob media.

i think that's what i'm going to have to do, i've a got just under 2x 5 gallon pales of mixed brass to sort.

I usually sort out all my brass when I get home from the range. The odd 40SW gets into the 9mm brass and vice versa on occasion BUT I decap before tumbling so I'll find the odd mixed in case 'cause it won't fit in the shell holder. Problem solved.
