Never owned a stainless steel handgun, although currently lusting after one.

Are there any special considerations/concerns when cleaning? Or whatever works with standard/blued steel works just fine?

You can use your finger to wipe off the carbon residue on a stainless gun... If the carbon is baked onto it, just rub it in sand. It comes out good as new. And it didn't cost you any money for fancy lubes you can eat.

Depends of what type of SS finish. Is it polished? Satin? Bead blasted? If you use any stainless polish on a flat finish gun, you'll end up polishing the whole pistol/revolver because it will look uneven. If it's flat or satin, don't use any metal polish. Just wipe it off or any firearm cleaner will do the trick. I have a Sig All around myself and you don't need to use any special product. I use mainly Mpro7 and Hoppes 9. It's a very durable finish that doesn't attract fingerprint.
