Stainless steel media and vibrators

Why is this stuff can't be used in a vibratory case cleaner?

I've never used the vibrator type, but I think the water and soap part of the recipe would make a foamy wet mess. Could it even handle 15 Lbs of load? (5lbs stainless, 2 lbs brass, 1 gal water)

Running stainless dry would probably lose half the benefit of the wet process.

Loving my STM kit.

From what I gather, the stainless media needs to slush around in water and soap to do it's thing. It works off of mechanical rubbing of the media against the brass, along with the soap. This is why rotary tumblers are used, as it ensures generous movement of the contents to maximize the sliding of media against brass. Vibratory tumblers generally don't have enough oomph to get 15 lbs of stainless media and water and brass to all mix around. And even then, the relative minor sliding action of the media over the brass would not be enough to get the results needed. I have yet to read of any vibratory tumbler used for stainless media.
