Stainless steel media

I ended up having to buy it from the US since the Canadian dealer I listed above was sold out.

Yes the CanadianTreasureSeekers guys have been sold out for quite awhile but just for info they only stock the standard Model B and not the high speed Model B.

I have heard that the proper one for our use is the High Speed version that operates at a motor speed of 3600 rpm as a opposed to the slow speed one of 1600 rpm or so.

Can anyone confirm this.........

I think the high speed motor runs at 3,000 rpm and the standard one is 1,500 rpm. I have heard that the 1,500 rpm one works just fine for cleaning brass while using the stainelss media, but takes longer compared to the 3,000 rpm one. That is the only difference I have heard. I hope to use the 3,000 rpm motor for mine since I will be cleaning 50 BMG brass, so I can't clean too many of them at one time.

Either moter does work, but when I got mine from the treasure hunter's it was a low speed. Sent it and some cash back to the factory for the highspeed motor.
When I tumbled 50 cal I did 25-30 at a time.
30MM was 1 at a time.

30MM Dang!!! What you hunting up in Cochrane with that.... LOL :p

If I told you, I'd have to kil you.

Question is, does anyone know where a guy can get his hands on a tumbler for stainless media at the moment? Everywhere I search is sold out and or on back order! :0

Call these guys .. Their site said no no .. But they found me an A-R12 ( unit I was looking for ) and up until last week they did have a model B .. Would imagine they would get them first .. Seem to sell a lot of them

To comment on the high speed low speed thing .. I bought the A-R12 as I was cleaning about 200 45acp at a time .. Beautiful job with SS media, lemoshine (Canadian Tire ) and Dove ..

Go to you tube .. Count the revolutions of both professed high or low .. See if you can spot the difference .. I have the smaller motor and get as many revolutions as the professed highspeed. But my tub is only 12 lbs. 200 .45 acp cleaner than "NEW" in just over 3 hours .. Did not check if ready sooner .. Less SS media needed also

Buy a brass sieve 1/4 in screen on eBay 8" diameter .. Dump media and Brass in that after the rinse, over a tray, play Mr. tamborine man for about 20 seconds and recover all your media .. Just do not do it if the wife is asleep! .. Got a new sieve for $20.00 my grankids grankids will have it !
