Stainless steel Refinishing

Hi everyone, does anyone know where you can stainless steel refinishing done. I have S/S 12 gauge Winchester Marine that the receiver needs to be redone any info would be greatly appreciated.

Are you sure it's not nickel plated? What is the make and model?

I guess it probably would be nickel plated.

The biggest problem will be finding a person/business licensed to work on firearms who also does nickle plating as the serial numbered receiver is considered a firearm.
... and you don't want electro plating, it is no where as good a Electroless nickel plating.

"...probably would be nickel plated..." Yep. Hard chrome plated Al receiver. And like guntech says finding a licenced plating shop will be problematic.
Any chance of you posting a picture? Maybe there's another solution. AL can be anodized, for example.

How about getting the gun refinished in brushed stainless KG-GUNKOTE as an option. it is a spray and bake on finish that is very durable and can give you the option of returning your firearm to its former glory.
