Stainless steel snare wire.

Anybody know any venders that sell it? All i can seem to find is brass. Looking for 22 guage. Thanks

Go to an industrial supplier and ask for stainless lock wire

Canadian tire carries 20 G, if that helps. IIRC, 20 G is the largest we can use in Alberta without a trappers license.

Lowes carried it at one time, all I see on their site right now is 22g in galvanized. It's under picture hanging wire.

Go mine at the Dollar store several times. Never go in the bush with out it. A little pricey but the any welding supply will have .035 .045 wire.

Most of the local hunting stores around here ( northern alberta) have a good stock of both brass and stainless. Naught a roll of 500ft for 22$ just a few weeks back

I make that at a little over 25 Thou Diameter. Any aircraft supply outfit can provide 25 thou lockwire in a couple more or less 'stainless' alloys.

Just about any hobby store will have stainless picture frame wire although brass only in Ontario for snares .
