Thanks Mike

Yeah but by the time I increase the size, X3 or more, to equal my ultravibe 18, I'm afraid of the weight and reciprocating mass.
Nope, hobbyist version. I've had this thing for almost 30 freakin' years and it still runs like new. I can hardly believe it!![]()
Another thing using pins in a vibratory cleaner is that you will need MUCH more media per volume of brass. The pins will tend to stay at the bottom and not mix with the brass (as I understand).
I will start off with 10lbs and see how it works. If not, then I still have a big rotary tumbler.![]()
1. There is no mess. You're tumbling in a closed container, then dumping the spent solution into the toilet. I follow this by a rinse in the same bucket where I separate brass from the media.I really like the concpet and I even seem tto be able to overlook the 'mess' associated with wet tumbling. My only real reservation is capacity. 250 cases at a time isn't really much.
No need for ball bearings, I use the 0.040" round SS shot used for sandblasting, works like a charm, and no stuck pins.I wonder if anyone has tried a small stainless steel ball bearing as opposed to the pins?
