anybody have a canadian source for this stuff...I can buy from the US but shipping is a killer....let me know if ya have a source or any advice please

I paid more for shipping then for the pin's,but I did get them.
They did ask me about a group buy discount.
See if you can get a couple guy's together and do one.
 
Call them and tell her their for tumbling brass.She'll send you the right one.
That 5 lb's on the EE is WAY over priced.Pellet's sell's it for $5 a lb.
 
Can you use this in regular tumblers? I have a Hornady (I know, they such).

I pick up stuff from the US all the time since I live an hour from the border.
 
There a guy named Mark out of the state's that is the originator of the SS process, but he doesn't like to deal with our money order's anymore.His bank charged him $15 to charge the last one's.
I sent him cash 2 1/2 year's ago so it all worked out for me.
There is another source for the pin's in the state's.

Tell them it's for reloading/brass tumbling,they'll set you up.
It's about $25 for 5 lbs, but it cost's more for shipping.
Maybe get a couple guy's together for a group buy?

I'd use either of Zuke's guys for the media - not all media is created equal and Zuke lists the best sources. I would pick up the Thumler Mod 2 from Cabelas.com (USA made - so NO duty charges) they are the cheapest for both the tumbler and the shipping charges. Another alternative is Sinclairs which sells both media and the Thumler. Lemishine and Dawn at CDN Tire.

stainlesstumblingmedia.com is the easiest but is crazy expensive.

On thing to note on this timber is a "compact tumbler" which the manufacture rates at only 12 lbs. Once you add one US gallon of water (8 pounds), and SS media (5 pounds), you have already overloaded the tumbler without adding any brass. :(

The Thumler's Model B High Speed kit has a rated capacity of 15 pounds and already comes with 5 pounds of SS pins and LemiShine. Plus it's also only $229.95 USD, plus shipping. Shipping is additional but this is easily offset by it's lower price.
