whats the best option? im near the border so i can just order from stainlesstumblingmedia, ship to a pickup place and do that, or is there a better way to do it with in canada sources?

Just have it shipped direct, I don't see the problem. I got mine from Buffalo Arms in the US.

Do you just put this in your regular tumbler or do you have to use the one they sell as the kit on the ifficial website?

The stainless steel media has to be used in water so your tumbler has to be water compatible. The Thumlers are suitable and there are others as well but most vibratory tumblers for cleaning brass are not. Search for a rock tumbler/polisher that can handle water.

make your own tumbler, order the media only.

later on i plan to get some 16 gauge sheet metal, maybe a little smaller, and weld up a replica. rubber coat and your good to go!

I've gathered most of the stuff I need to build a wet tumbler... Just gotta get around to doing it.
The units I see out there for brass cleaning are just too small...
I'd like to clean a min of 1000 pieces of .223 in one go so gotta build a larger unit

close to half the cost to ship to the states if not less than shipping to me in canada and it costs me $5 and is 2km farther down the road than my post office

I just got mine from Cabelas USA (Thumler's Model B). I've got it chewing on 3 pounds of 9mm brass at a time (backlog!). The SS Pins are from Pellets LLC - great bunch to deal with.
