Wow! That Trojan is frickin beautiful! Where can I get my hands on those grips for a Kimber 1911?

If you are not running your pistol in and out of a holster it doesn't really matter which one you get. I have owned both for many years and have taken them to the range repeatedly with no ill effects on either finish. If you stored them in a case with wet foam it might make a difference but I have a S&W 586 (blued) that I bought in 1985 and there is no rust on it yet and it hasn't been a high maintenance item either.

Jay Evil is poo!

Man you take great snap shots! (with a camera that is:p )

For me it's either blued or stainless... only two-toned pistol I ever owned was a Colt Combat Elite... and only 'cause it came from the factory that way...

Purevil, that is a purdy handgun. What is it?
Kimber Fullsize TLE/RLII with Surefire X200 LED light, Carbon Creations Smooth Carbon Fiber Grips, and Smith and Alexander Magwell. Its one of my favorite guns, i never liked 1911s until I saw a kimber.

Tomorrow I think Im going to buy my Kimber Ultra CDPII for daily carry. That is if my guy can't come through for me.
