I was wondering what advantages there is to one steel over the other.
I recognize the corrosion resistance that stainless steel offers but I really like the hi gloss blued look.
does stainless steel offer a longer life barrel? more acurate? Is it just for looks? what?
I am also looking for a decent scope for a 17hmr wether it be a drop compensator or a multiple aim type reticle(mil-dot)
A good bipod is also a must. I would like to find a bipod with pan, tilt,cant capabilities and also a range of leg travel. I notice that most bipods have a 2.5-4" variation in hight. A 9-17" or a two stage telescopic leg option would be nice.
As of yet my intenet searching has revealed nothing. Truth be told they all look the same.
