Just getting into reloading some 10mm, and have been poking around the 10mm forums for info. There seems to be some debate on either side of this fence.

I will be running 180gr Campros and 200gr XTP over BlueDot. I currently have more of The CCI magnum pistol primers in my stash than regular CCI pistol primers. Just wondering if it is even worth doing the development on the Magnums or should a guy stick to the standards? Any input from the resident 10mm gurus would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I reload 10mm, both 180 and 200g XTP and make them move at what the speed they were originally developed for. I just use LPP and have never used Magnums. You can do it, but I don't believe it's necessary unless your reloading manual says it is with that particular powder.

Bluedot is really dirty for a semi

I use regular primers for softer loads on a heavier bullet, magnum/rifle for heavier loads on light bullets

imr 4756 or 800x is my choices
