Well the Stinger is shooter then what they call a shorty...my Bedell's are shorty and as you have seen are not that short....they generaly refer to 4.5" barrel, and pretty much a regular modern 5-7 ish chambers....I did find the Stinger rough at the beginning but now I'm pretty well used to it I can get through 700 rds in practice before I start to feel tired
with my new pistol there is no end to a practice session
....I do shoot better scores with the new one...not sure why....perhaps the feel or recoil ect...
My wife also shot one of the Open gun I got and she was having a lots of difficulties with a Edge 40.....of course she didn't want to have anything to do with Open because of the noise...blast ect... until she tried my Stinger....which she didn't want to give back for the whole practice session....now she's shooting a Bedell and she seem to like IPSC a lot more...
