I sold my compound a few years ago and am now hunting wth a 64" long bow.

Trouble is the ground blinds and tree stands I have, were all bought when I hunted only with rifle and compound; they just do not work with a traditional bow.

If anybody with experience hunting with a trad bow, could recommend what ground blinds and tree stands work well for them, I would be much obliged.

I hunt with a 62" recurve and had the same issue. The only pop up type ground blind I could find that would work was huge and not practical. I use a climbing tree stand now and it seems to work ok. I had to practice shooting canted in order to be able to hunt out of the stand though.

Any treestand should work, unless it has a railing to interfere with the action of your lower limb. I use the same stands for compounds or traditional.

When I hunt traditional archery, I tend to spot and stalk and still hunt, for the most part. The slow methodical methods lend themselves well to getting into eyeball range. I took my biggest whitetail buck and biggest black bear with a Jim Brackenbury recurve while stalking.

Thanks for the response,

I shoot my trad bows canted anyways.
I learnt from Hill's and Byron Ferguson's books and put my eye directly over the arrow looking along the length of the arrow for gap shooting.

I am thinking I need a climbing stand I can stand on.

Why do you need a "climbing" stand? Any hang on stand will work. Hang-on type stands are lighter and more portable... and usually quieter... any treestand without a knee rail will work fine.
