Does anyone know the history of these guns? I've heard they are Spanish police or military refurbs, I've heard that they were a cancelled contract that has been in storage for years. I think there was one other story about them,as well that I can't recall.

So, does anyone really know their story?

Good afternoon,
I had a "B" in the years 1980's....sold it for $130.00....should have kept it.
Sweet shooting piece in 9mm, clone of the 1911.
Made in Spain, in the town of Eibar (Basque country), by Bonifacio Etchevarria.
Very well finished, never had any issue.
They were probably surplus from Spanish police/army.

I don't know the story. I bought one and it was so nice I assumed it was new. But my gunsmith pointed out a detail that told him it was refurbed.

Shoots well. Don't break it. parts are very hard to find.

I have bought 4 of these in last years of so, couple where as new from the factory, and couple where referbished.
Great pistol for the money.
They are not match target guns, but at price super, helps if you can read spanish, as that is whet the book is .
Good pictures.
Only trouble I have had is one had issue with mag disconnect, had to adjust it as trigger would not always fall
They are ex police guns I think.
