starline brass...

I started using Starline brass in the 500 S&W, the only reason for that being it is made to accept large rifle primers. With some of the slower burning powders, H110 in particular, every once in a while there were signs of an ignition problem using large pistol or large pistol magnum primers. I believe the newer Hornady brass for that calibre now takes large rifle primers.

You can buy it direct from Starline if your order value is less than US $100. They are quick and efficient, so I see no reason to buy elsewhere at higher prices.

As for the brass, I've had no problems (38 Super, 9mm Largo, 45/90, 7.62x25TT), but others say it's best to anneal the large cases first.

I shoot literally thousand of these little sucker, good brass better then Amscor which has been splitting on me with 171PF.....I have been using Starline 38 TJ and 38 SC size last year.

I have reloaded both the TJ and SC up to 10 times(testing it).....with no lose pockect primer and no split.....for my open gun's at Major power factor, also the Power Factor stay pretty much the same.

I buy mine from double tap in large supply.....
