Starter charge for a golf ball mortar?? HELP!!!

So my machinist is making the final cuts on breech blocks and such...whats a good starter charge to send a golf ball out and about? I am thinking just a couple hundred meters for now...

If your just aiming for 200 yards , a 100 grains will likely get you there pdq......I'd use a paper wad over the powder for compression.
