Today being my birthday id figure id get myself a lil gift. I have allways loved the look of scout rifles so i figured id start working on turning my norinco into one. I cant seem to find any dealer that has a handguard rail style system any help finding one would be appreciated

Our low, Scout Hand Guard or "SHG" is available now in ltd. qty. (see this photo). The picantinny rail is approx. 12 5/8” long and mounts as low as the top forward flat of your M14 receiver. It includes mounting points at 10 o’clock and 2 o’clock for 4” lengths of picatinny rail. I am working tonight on the online order page (this may take a day or two). It is now offically digitally weighed in at 186 grams or 6.56 ounces with all metal hardware attached. (The original US GI hand guard weighs 84 grams or 2.96 ounces). Note, for stocks like the black plastic Chinese stock, 2009 or better, wood US GI stocks and synthetic US GI stocks, minor inletting will be required to seat the SHG. This can be done within minutes with the right tool. The backgrounder and installation instructions can be downloaded here. Retail price for the SHG is $219.95. For questions or more photos, email or call me direct. I am on Pacific Standard Time. Thank-you.
