Starting out in IPSC

You know on a regular basis I read here about people wanting to get into IPSC, but they don’t know what gear to get, where to get it or, are waiting for it to arrive. What amazes me is that they are not getting in touch with their provincial organization to see if they can help them out. In Alberta, IPSC Alberta has 4 complete rigs for single stacks (ok the belts are small since they are for juniors), plus some holsters for other guns. In addition many of the Black Badge Instructors have loaner gear that they have picked up over the years.

I would suggest that if you want to get started in IPSC, contact your provincial association through the IPSC Canada website www.ipsc-canada.org
You will be surprised at how they can help.

yes your right
and alot of shooters mags have gear to lend
i know i have offered a few times to people
i go a bit nuts on mags so ive allways got a bunch for them for each gun.
I allways say just get the min stuff then get more as u have the $$$
me id rather buy it all at once then pay off the visa.
