I would look for a good quality auto loader. they tend to be lighter on recoil, and more of a pleasure to shoot. Stay with 12 ga. They will out grow sub gauges and move up to 12 anyway. Stay away from Turkish guns, they are of questionable quality. I have a 391 Beretta, that I keep around just for that purpose. Youths or women that want to try shooing. If you give a new shooter, a gun that kicks, it can scare them away. After that its just head on the stock eye on the rock . If they enjoy this game it wont be long they will want to up grade. your quality auto will hold its value. I realize these boys are just starting out and this will get them going. However shotguns are all about fit. When your boys are done growing, Then its time for a personal gun... good luck
