STATT in Ontario

A bit frusterated...
Im waiting for my LTATT to "process" so in the meantime I called the cfo to inquire about a STATT so i could take a restricted to the range for target practice.
Apparently its a bastard to get a statt in ontario. you need a note on club letterhead signed by a range board member faxed to the cfo.... so just to take a pistol out once, you need to suffer through all this...
Anyone else got a statt in ontario???

they told me the same thing while I was waiting for my LTATT. Why do I need an invite to my own range? This CFO stuff has gotten out of hand!

If you know someone else that has a LTATT, they can get a STATT to "borrow" your restricted firearm and bring it to the range. I was able to do that for someone waiting months for their club safety course with a pistol in the safe.

No, it is the logical culmination of the system as set up.

Which is why the system HAS TO GO.
