Alright, this has probably been asked about a million times but...
What is the best (fastest) way to obtain a short term ATT? I live in British Colmbia btw. I need to take my restricted firearm from the store to my house.

Easy!! call the BCCFO they will fax or email you a STATT.

Call CFC 1 800 731-4000, then extension 9512 for BC. They only answer the phones Monday to Friday.Have all the particulars ready although most likely you'll have to leave a message and they'll call you back. They can fax you the STATT or send it to you by email.

fax your ST ATT request with:
all your and buyer info + ref transfer number + Canada Post address + time range of transport (ex: 1.00PM - 4:00PM)
fax it at : 604-586-2402 Surrey CFO
or contact CFO switch board at: 604-586-2562

If it's a restricted you've just had transfered to you (a new to you gun you've just bought), your STATT will be included with the temp reggie documentation provided to the dealer. Just take your case and lock, and a big grin. The folks who actually do the work at BC CFO are terrific, very helpful and fast.

While back I sold two handgun, I call everyday and NOT able to have anyone answer the phone but answering machine, fax them is the faster way if not able to get a hold with them.
