Stay with the floor plate or go to a DBM?

I just read threw a few post regarding DBM's and my friend and I have also been discussing this topic for sometime, I am interested to hear what setup people prefer to use? I have modified my Rem 700 to be tactical style precision rifle based on light weight and the odd chance that I might need to hunt with it, it is at this time a range only rifle. I do see the advantages such as fast reloading, different round selection and it looks very nice to boot, however I do find loading every shot to be calming and a form of concentration. With that said I see how it could be a disadvantage to my setup with extra weight and the price, also do the DBM's jam on average more then the drop in style if ever on a quality product? Also what kind of work would I need to have done if I have a B&C stock?

Cheers,
Evan
