After much hesitation, I decided to Magpul my 590A1. The gun I said I was leaving stock....

Then stealth gray happened.

I'm weak...

This setup is actually more comfortable than my 870 Magpul, especially the MOE forend. I can get a better, more centered grip on the MOE than with the 870 which I opt to use a MVG vertical grip on. (awesome too) I kept the LOP the same too (long) as it just suits the overall feel of this shotgun to me.
In regular lighting the color subdues and takes on its surroundings. From ten feet away in a regularly lite room it looks matte black. As you close in on it, the gray becomes evident. In daylight it pops.

I think it looks great. I was excited when Magpul announced the Stealth Grey awhile back. Glad to see it's finally up here. Where did you purchase it from?

Sorry, this page is for "Black & Green Shotguns". "Stealth Gray" doesn't qualify .... ;>)

Seriously - looks great! I like the contrast between the furniture and the action/barrel.

I've been considering mounting the VPG I have on hand to the fore end if necessary for my wife. I think it spoils the look, but if it makes it handier for her to operate .....

Very nice ! At first I thought it would look so nice in sniper grey or Sig grey Cerakote, but in the grass, I can see it in Foliage Green Cerakote. Ohhh yeah. But leave the magpul stock grey of course.

I think the gray works better on the 590A1, the gun is basically all gray anyways. (Albeit a different shade/hue)
Only thing black is the receiver.

Grey is the new black this year. Strange. If you like grey like so many others, get the receiver done to match.

I've liked gray for a number of years. Its only just now available. The reciever will stay black too. Making it gray would be tacky.
Like those guys who paint there entire shotgun desert tan. Yuck. Like wearing jean jacket, jeans and a jean shirt. Matching fully is not also the right choice.

Yes, contrasting colours are more interesting. But everyone has their own idea of what looks "right" . These are two of mine.
