steel core 22-250?

Is there steel core 22-250 ammo? Or any of the high velocity .22 centerfire rounds?

I am curious what the steel core on such a fast small round would do.
I know just the normal JHP 22-250 will make a hole that looks like a drill made in steel that a JHP 308 just puts a dent in.

I just always figured the steel core to be a military item, and well .22 center fire is not a military round, lol.

I've never seen factory, but you can always reload a 223 AP bullet if you want.

Find some SS109, I have always wanted to spit some out of a .223 WSSM. Would make for a wicked AP round.

Would the extra velocity behind the 22-250 make it have that much more damage? I mean a normal JHP does more damage to steel then I would have expected already.
I dont have the tools to reload at this time, but I sure am curious, lol.
I really have no use for an AP round beyond my own curiosity.

There's no factory steel cored .22-250, but that doesn't mean somebody hasn't loaded milsurp bullets. A steel core doesn't atuomatically make any ammo AP though.
