Steel shot availability?

You mention wholesale, are you looking for tons of shot? I don't know of any manufacturers, and wholesale would be in multi ton lots from the US, China, Turkey or possibly Ukraine/Russia. (Turkey is good at making too soft rebar... )

For ideas of retail cost, try Precision Reloading. They sell both zinc plated and unplated steel shot for very good prices, in lots up to 120lbs ($204). It is their own brand, and a third to half the cost of anything else on the market.

If you are only looking at a few flats, from the cost of steel shot I've seen in the past, it's cheaper to buy loaded shells than the shot itself, unless you ship shot to the US and pick up from there (with Department of Commerce export permit of course). International shipping out of the US has become extremely expensive this year.

One note, using bead blasting steel shot might not be advisable. It isn't annealed and typically has a hardness of 40-60 HRC. Shot for shotgun shells is soft, low carbon steel and annealed.
