Though I would post one of the "worth a 1000 words" pictures. As a test these 10 gauge hulls were reloaded (steel) with non-steel wads, and results are obvious please use the correct components and follow the reloading guidelines for safety sake.
I understand that rumours abound on CGN and are not encouraged which I agree with, but if an item affects CGN members it should be mentioned. A change in regulation (federal) re steel shot for all migratory/non-migratory hunting MAY be in for this falls hunting season. The feds as per usual (with no warning) want to remove ALL lead shot from enviroment. This may affect SKEET and TRAP shooters as they may only be able to use STEEL.
That is why the steel reloading post as it seems more CGN folks may be forced by circumstances to start reloading STEEL shot instead of lead.
I am still tracking down more info on this subject (and i am sure this is not the first time it has had a post on CGN.)
