Steel target loads - Does anyone else have trouble finding them?

Hi guys,

Living in Ottawa has its benefits, but ammo selection isn't one of them. I have looked (what seems like) everywhere in the city but no one has any. I am working in Montreal but don't have a vehicle so buying ammo is challenging to say the least. I was hoping someone might have an idea where to find some. Montreal, Ottawa, Perth, even Kingston isn't off the table as I pass pretty close on the way to the cabin.

It doesn't seem that any of the online dealers nearby carry steel target loads either. Plenty of hunting steel, but the shot size is a little too big for clay shooting and I can't imagine a full choke will like it very much.

I know the logical solution is to just shoot lead, but I will be shooting over a lake. Anyone have suggestions?

Buy lead loads. The whole steel shot myth has been blown totally out of proportion. If you are shooting over a lake I would think any shot will sink quite deep so it will never be injested by any puddle ducks. As far as I am concerned more ducks are wounded and lost by lousy steel loads than ever died from injesting lead shot and being poisoned.
 
Gagnon sports in Oshawa is a kent dealer, and kent makes very reasonably priced steel target loads. I actually used them for duck last year, (They come in 15 yards above decoys, no need for 4's). They can only order flats, not single boxes but give em a shout.
